Community Engagement Projects help foster relationships between local communities, provide people with an opportunity to get involved with their local area, and provide a platform for dialogue about issues that are important to the community.
Through CEPs, communities can tackle social, economic and environmental challenges, while creating a more engaging and inclusive environment. Communities also benefit from CEPs through the development of new skills, and the promotion of positive values and behaviours.
CEPs help to bring people together to tackle issues important to them in a creative and exciting way, while creating a stronger sense of identity, belonging and justice in the area. They are also a great way to get people more involved with their local government and civic life.
Some of our ongoing projects are our sewing workshops, digital literacy workshops, our equip and empower project and our collaboration with local community groups to deliver the “Healthier Me” project.
Some of our upcoming projects include: an intergenerational project, our work out and dance aerobics project.
